Lisa Day... Through Lisa's Eyes... A review of:Women of the Way: Embracing to Camino Embracing the 'What'? I won a copy in a drawing. Which was a good thing. It makes you spread yourself imposed limits to read something different. That said I think I understand Jane's title better.. The Camino is a journey to feed the soul. If you ever wanted to do something to discover more about yourself and weren't sure how you go about accomplishing that goal. This book is for you. This was Jane's reason “Many of my friends are puzzled why I, a nonbeliever, want to go on a pilgrimage. This long journey for me is not for religious devotion, but for introspection and adventure, providing me with an opportunity to discover languages, customs, and ways of life different from my heritage, as is the case for most people.” If a journey like this is on your bucket list (It might be after you read this) then read this book. Ms. Blanchard tells you what, how, why, and when in such a way when you finish the book; envy will set in. Beware, it wasn't all fun and games for Jane, her husband, and those who crossed their trail along the way, but I don't believe in spoilers. See why a “Women’s Discovery Skirt" that comes to just above her knees and provides a UPF 50+ rating and is quick to dry is an important item. Do enjoy getting to know this fascinating lady. I did.
