What's the title? The title of my newest release is:Cluing In It’s book one in a series, and I’m still trying to come up with a name for the series… What's the genre? Young adult contemporary. What's the setting? Most of the story takes place at a suburban high school that the main character and his friends attend. They live in a fairly small town not far from a major city. In my mind, they’re near Portland, Maine, though that’s never specified in the book. What's the names of your leading characters?
The main character is Jamey Mandel, a 16-year-old boy. His best friend Jebbi Randolph is a major character, but the book is mainly about Jamey. What's 3 things you want to share about each of the characters to named? Jamey is sixteen and a junior in high school. His parents were teen parents; they were only 17 when Jamey’s mother got pregnant. Jamey’s uncle, V.J. (who is a secondary character in this book, and will be starring in his own book soon) is two weeks younger than Jamey. What can you tell us about the story in 3-5 sentences? Jamey is the kind of guy whose friends turn to him to help them solve their problems. He has some pretty strong ideas, including the fact that he doesn't’t want to have sex until he’s out of high school, which is why he breaks up with his girlfriend Tina. When rumors fly a few weeks later that Tina is pregnant by her new boyfriend, she comes to Jamey for help and he turns her away. Then Tina commits suicide, and Jamey is left believing that if he had only listened to her, she would still be alive. How's it end ? Oops don't answer that. How's is not a What's question I guess to learn more about the story and how it ends your readers need to buy the book. So tells us where can we buy your book(s).
