Katrina Martanz – newspaper reporter
Hamid Al-Hassid – camera shop owner, well that’s one identity.
What are 3 things you want to share about each of the characters named?
Tommy – he dreams of being a warrior but is told to forget such nonsense, he has a vision that will lead him into danger, and he is attracted to his best friend’s sister and doesn’t know what to do about it.
Bert – he is newly promoted to head the FBI counterterrorism section in Chicago, he has a feeling that something bad is brewing, and he wishes he were better at his new job.
Katrina – she is a newspaper reporter relegated to back-page stories. She is looking for her big break. She will take chances to get a front-page scoop.
Hamid – he has a nice business, a girlfriend he loves but he has vowed to get revenge for family members killed by U.S. Forces in Iraq.
What can you tell us about the story in 3-5 sentences?
There is a terrorist plot, it involves killing lots of people, and the terrorists might even escape. It is a race against time. Can anyone foil the terrorists?

Anything thing else you’d like to share with the reader?
I started this book with two simple ideas. What if terrorists decided to attack small town American? Who would stop them?
I combined that with my interest in Native American culture and the idea that sometimes someone unexpected does something heroic. It sort of grew from there.
