A tiny fictional town called Lakesburg, Michigan, though most of the novel revolves around a 50s diner in the town. What are the names of your leading characters? Ontario, Austin, Eddy, Warren, Kelly-Ann, and Maggie What are 3 things you want to share about each of the characters to named? Ontario is in her senior year of high school, she loves art, and she has trouble trusting others because of events in her past. Austin is Ontario’s co-worker at the diner. He is an art major at the local community college and loves to dance. Eddy is Ontario’s older brother. He is a mechanic and very responsible. Warren is one of Ontario’s best friends. He loves cars and is always positive. Kelly-Ann is Ontario’s best friend. She is kind of ditsy, but she’s also a good friend. Maggie is the owner of the diner where much of the story happens. She is an older woman who’s only wish is to bring happiness to everyone around her. What can you tell us about the story in 3-5 sentences? This story is told from Ontario’s point of view after she is abandoned by her mother. In an effort to feel like less of a burden on her brother Ontario takes a job at the local 50s diner. While there she meets her new “family” and through them she learns that she can still love and trust even though people in the past have let her down. So tells us where can we buy your book(s).
