Lisa Day on the Web
Come along on another journey and discover the Historical Romance gems from the past. This time it's.. Rosanne Bittner. This woman can write and has done so seriously since 1979. Her first book was published 1983. When I watched one of her videos on her site I recognized having more covers of her books than even I was aware of. According to her blog she has thrilled her readers over 57+ times. I also learned Ms. Bittner has a wild side. Who knew? Actually, writing the tales she does and set mostly in the wild west a wild side would come in handy. The fact that history comes alive as her pen hits the paper doesn't surprise those who have discovered her books. In trying to describe her books I found her own words did a better job than I ever could.... “When you read a Bittner book, you will be reading about real locations and real historical events. I like to teach some history in an entertaining way, so I just mix my fictitious characters and their personal story into the fantastically exciting events that happened in this country as it was settled. You will find adventure and lots of romance in my stories, and when sex is involved, I try to handle it tastefully – and it’s almost always between a man and woman truly in love. I believe in great love stories, where it’s the love the hero and heroine share that keeps them strong and holds them together through the many dangers and tribulations of settling in untamed country. “ http://rosannebittner.blogspot.com/ So, come on and get your history in a grand fashion. Rosanne Bittner was always one of those authors I didn't need to see the cover. I didn't need to read the blurb. I just had to see her name to add the book to the purchase side of the counter. So if she ever reads this I have one question for her... When did you drop the F. before Rosanne? You can follow her fan page: https://www.facebook.com/RosanneBittnerAuthor See what's she up to: http://rosannebittner.blogspot.com/ & http://www.rosannebittner.com/ If book covers are art to you then check this out: http://rosannebittner.blogspot.com/p/my-book-trailer-on-youtube.html and then you'll see why I write American Historical stories - succulent covers.
